This south-facing slope has some of the best views we have ever come across. It is also the most exposed site we have ever had to deal with. Although the scrub on the steep slope down to the sea, some 50 meters below, provides a little protection the salt laden westerly wind (and the rabbits) have detered our clients from planting. Cutting the grass was also not the easiest job even with the help of the rabbits.
We, and the clients, were delighted with the results. Of course, we will have to see what effect the past winter's storms have had. As you can see from the photos, even the rabbits have co-operated - they do not seem to eat the plants chosen.
